The logs selected for this veneer come from slow-grown European forests, where cooler climates encourage tightly layered fibres and a naturally elegant grain.

Each log is air-cured in open Venetian sheds, allowing gentle Adriatic breezes to pass through the timber. This centuries-old practice enables the fibres to settle gradually, resulting in a veneer with a calm, classical straight-line formation. Once seasoned, the oak undergoes hand-guided slicing, where the craftsman adjusts blade pressure to ensure an even, dignified grain across the sheet.
